Page to Performance Programme
Page to Performance Programme is a comprehensive and immersive theatre education programme designed to develop a solid foundation in the fundamentals of stage performance. Through a progressive curriculum, students will engage in audition techniques, cold script readings, character analysis, subtext interpretation, improvisation, blocking, and ensemble-based play work.

The programme fosters vocal and physical skills towards a stronger stage presence, with benefits that extend beyond performance. It also cultivates critical thinking, creative expression, and collaborative problem-solving. It also equips students with essential theatrical competencies while enhancing their confidence, communication, and adaptability. Under the guidance of a theatre educator, participants will apply their skills within a professional black box style auditorium setting (not to be confused with a “Production”).

By synthesizing textual analysis with practical performance techniques, Page to Performance connects the written word to the stage, inspiring students to become thoughtful, versatile theatre-makers.

Certificate from J’s Academy will be awarded on successful completion of the programme.
