This 4-month 'Tales to Theatre’ is a Speech and Drama Programme for our youngest performers. This programme is designed keeping in mind the developmental stages of our learners where they see the world through actions, represent things with words and are beginning to think with reason.Imagination and empathy usually start developing as they grow sentence structures and verbalize articulation.Through interactive storytelling and dramatisation, they  will explore the building blocks of performing a group play and develop confidence, teamwork, and self-expression. The final objective of this programme is for students to perform a work-in-progress showcase in front of an encouraging audience in an auditorium (this is not a “production”).

Not only will this help build their stage presence and confidence, but will also build on their ability to use voice and body, perform in front of an audience, and ability to work collaboratively. By the end of the programme, students will not only have gained valuable performance skills but also enhanced their confidence in expressing themselves.

Performing Arts skills are learnt and developed over time and we allow the student to take their time to grow and also encourage all the ways to express themselves. Each learner is unique and has their own growth journey. 

Certificate from J’s Academy will be awarded on successful completion of the programme. 

Working towards these certificates encourages teamwork, turn-taking, sharing, speaking and listening, memorisation and imaginative engagement.
